Sorry if this is not the right place to post this but if not hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, me and my wife have seperated, she has gone to her parents and me to mine. Been like this a couple of months now. Just recently the wife has managed to get a house to rent and the council are paying the rent for it and she gets certain benefits each week too.
My question is, where do i stand as a bloke, i really appreciate my parents for letting me stay here but to be honest its not really working out.
Does anyone know where i stand with getting my own place, is there help out there for me on my own with no kids???
I am currently on ESA benefit which is an amazing £121 every fortnight but hopefully am starting work later this month.
I just need to know if there is any options out there to get me my own place and independence back. How am i ever gonna meet anyone else, i can hardly take them back home to my elderly parents house!!. I dont want to be a bum and a scrounger and like i sayi have a job sorted so will be signing myself off the sick
Any idea's or anyone out there been in the same positon/
Thanks for reading

Id be more concerned about 'hopefully' getting that job rather than meeting someone and taking them home for some shimy shimy! Dont despair tho fella, someone will have some good advice. I would say get a job, see how much you can afford and then maybe rent. What happened to the place you and your ex lived in? Was that rented? Have you been left with big debts?I am NOT a mortgage adviser, or anything else!Infact, Im not an anything advisor and really dont know what im on about!0

house was repossed and i been left with some nice debt, considering bankruptcy. I get where u coming from, i dont wanna rush out for a girl to bring back i just want some independence back, driving me nuts back home!!
Its ust from what i see the blokes in a relationship always get the crap end of the deal even if its the woman who caused the split in the first place. They automatically get the kids too!! SO WRONG in my eyes anyway!, yes i admit sometimes they are better off with there mother but not in all cases!. ANyway i have had my little rant now, thanks for listening!!0 -
Blokes do get a raw deal, its the way it goes im afraid. Just know you arent the 1st bloke to hit rock bottom and that its upwards from now on, just takes time. Good luck buddy, keep ya chin up!I am NOT a mortgage adviser, or anything else!Infact, Im not an anything advisor and really dont know what im on about!0
