Help Choosing a Camera

I've been using a Nikon Coolpix 3200 for nearly 5 years now, so I'm thinking the time has come to buy a new one. I've really liked this camera, although it can be quite slow and it doesn't take fantastic night photos. I was thinking about getting a Nikon L18 (£84.99 on play.com), but I've seen that the Sony cyber-shot W120 (£114.99 on play.com) has good reviews. Has anyone got one of these cameras or can anyone suggest a nice compact camera under £150? I just want something fairly simple that will take nice photos indoor and outdoor, nothing too fancy.

Thanks for that....just noticed that the Sony cyber-shot W130 is £99.99 with free delivery on amazon, so may go for that instead as it's 8.1MP instead of 7.2MP. Unless anyone else has any advice?

Check this one out, I purchased one but still waiting for delivery, but i'll let you know what its like. It has some excellent reviews and its a media player, video camera, mp3 player.

I have literally just bought a fuji-finepix S8000fd at a fantastic price.
I've gone for the £146.99 offer (plus £5.99 postage)

The camera alone has recently been reduced to £150 in Curry's.

It's a high end compact - virtually a slr.

Nice one, if u need sdhc memory card for it I recommend either Amazon or Play.com unless it comes with it. Hope you enjoy. :beer:

i've just bought the samsung L201 from comet, it gets good reviews on their site:

it's 10.2 MP and reduced from £160 to £78.30

it is nice and compact and seems easy to use, not taken many pictures yet as I am waiting for an SD card I ordered yesterday from memorybits (2x 2BG SD card ony £6.45, and you can get 12% quidco or 15% off using a discount code, delivery 99p)
The internal memory only holds 2 pics when settings are at their highest.

you can reserve on line to collect in store, thats what I did, they'll hold it for 24 hrs I think.
