parking ticket appeal information needed

Hi All

I got a penalty charge notice at the weekend from my local council for parking on a double yellow line. I checked the ticket, and the description of the colour of my car is completely wrong. It says it is gold, but my car is Silver. Just goes to show how dumb these parking wardens are. If I appealed on this basis, would I win, and if so on what basis is my appeal. Is it because the colour is wrong, or as its an administrative error, and the vehicle description does not match my vehicle as described in the DVLA V5 logbook. Just one other note, on the ticket is my tax disc number as well. Does this change anything. Any help would be great.

Please start your own thread, as no one will see it up here.

The colour is not needed on a pcn, so it would make no difference if it's wrong.

However, there may be plenty of other things they've got wrong.

Please show us ALL of the ticket, together with any signs and road markings, so that someone can assist you.

Maybe appeal on the basis you are dumber than the "parking wardens" and din't realise it was really stooopid to park on a double yellow line? Maybe they'll take pity?

I fight PCNs all the time but some of this offensiveness towards CEOs really gets my goat.
