i am fully aware this is MSE, which is why i recommend the non use of LED lights that wont work with the OP's dimmer, wont give the desired output IMO and will cost over them £60.
My post saves them money now, not based on energy savings clawed back over the next five years.

You are entitled to your opinion, on what is or is not money saving. I was trying to give OP some alternatives. :A

Don't know about the previous post but I initially bought cheaper bulbs when I had my bathroom done and the glass part of one of them literally blew out of its socket and landed in the bath! I took them all back and had them replaced with more expensive bulbs (Sylvania). Three years now and none have needed replacing.

    Over your bath?
Lighting over a bath should be suitable for Zone 1, (IP 65 rated) - the bulb should have been sitting behind a sealed glass lens!

    Dodgy,

Can I suggest you check that the bulb holders are not covered by insulation. In my installation the fitter put a piece of plastic drain pipe around each fitment, in the loft, to ensure there was adequate ventilation.

LED bulbs run cool and will use much less electricity.

  Maybe this is legal in Spain, but will probably negate your insurance in the UK. Please DO NOT do this unless you have it in writing from your insurer that it is safe .... actually just don't cos it ain't.

This is in my UK flat which was built in 2006. I am not an electrician, but AFAIK there is nothing in IEE or any other regulations to prohibit such an installation.
