Protected Profits shares Isa worries

Hi

Last September we had 45k inheritance money and didnt know what to do with it because we had a 5 year fixed term on our mortgage which would have cost too much to overpay.

On the advice of a F.A. we invested the whole amount in STERLINGS multimanager protected profits fund with a view to using it to pay off some of our mortgage in 4 years time when we have to change our mortgage again.

Obviously now markets have plummeted, we have lost money already, our fund price is close to the protected price and we don't know what to do.

Wondered what people's opinions were?
Obviously we realise that to take our money out now crystallises losses etc. but what do people think about the potential state of the market in 4 years time.

Does anyone know much about this fund?

Realise this is a naive posting but am so worried that |I thought I would investigate this site!

Thanks for any advice!!!!

Hi- bear in mind that investments are for the long term (usually min 5 years) and that there will be fluctuations along the way so there is no surprise that it has gone down at the moment so personally that wouldn't bother me too much but someone else on the site may be able to tell you more about the actual Fund
