This is a superb deal. The Andaz Hotel, London, is giving away 60 Easter weekend rooms for the teensy price of £2.75 (inc tax).
The hotel’s releasing 10 rooms at that price on Tuesday 10 March, then 10 more, every Tuesday until Easter. To grab one, just call 0207 618 5061, quoting “Easter Egg price deal” on one of those dates (10, 24, 31 march, 1 April).
It’s one room at that price per person, and you must stay between 9 to 14 April. The hotel’s on Liverpool street, and looks pretty swish; take a look at the Tripadvisor review. Huge thanks to mixu for posting this deal.

Book a Guestroom at Andaz Hotel for the price of an Easter egg...
Easter Weekend: Thursday 9th to Tuesday 14th April
Reservations: 0207 618 5061

According to Forbes Magazine, over the Easter weekend, the British population will spend £220m on 80 million chocolate eggs. Five years ago, the average price for a hollow chocolate egg in a box with two bars of chocolate was about £2.99; last year, it was up to £5. This year's average price is set to peak at around £2.75 so, with this in mind, we created our special Easter offer….
Every week, starting from 10th March, a limited number of guestrooms will be released into the reservations system, and available to book for the average 2009 price of an Easter Egg (£2.75, including tax) per night (max stay one night at this rate).
This deal can be checked/booked for availability only directly through our Easter team on 0207 618 5061:- additional reservations staff can be reached on 0207 618 5010.
In addition to this eggs-tra special price, we will lay (OK, hide!) a Golden Egg in one of our 267 guestrooms and suites. The guest who finds the egg wins a complimentary one-night stay in a suite, dinner for two in 1901 restaurant and a bottle of champagne (now, where could it be…in the wardrobe, under the pillow, on the Room Service tray, under the bed…hmmmm…).
Eastway restaurant joins the Easter eggstravaganza with a brunch menu priced from £15 (three courses) that features classic dishes, as well as the obvious Eggs Benedict, Omelettes and Smoked Salmon with Scrambled’s.
For those who don’t manage to get the room deal, we still have an offer to beat many of our rivals with Queen double rooms available from £105 plus VAT (minimum two nights stay).
So, to recap…
· From 10th March, Easter weekend (9th - 14th April) rooms will be available for £2.75 (average price of an Easter Egg)
· A Golden Egg will be “laid” in a guest room; the finder will receive prizes (suite, dinner in 1901, champagne)
· Queen double rooms will be available from £105 plus VAT (includes WiFi access, a healthy mini bar and local calls)
· Brunch menu from £15 (three courses) £12 (two course) in Eastway restaurant

Anyone know what kind of rooms they are releasing, single rooms only, or a double bed etc? And is there anything in place to stop one person booking a night, then their partener booking a night on the night afterwards, and thus staying for two nights?
Cheers0 -

Engaged for ages then I got through and it just rang out.
Still I got the Hoxton £1 in Feb so can't be greedy I guess lol0 -

Hmm I'm worried now. I just asked if there were any Easter Egg rooms available still. She said only for the 11th April so I asked how much it was and how many people. She confirmed 2.75 for two people in a double room and took my mobile and email address to confirm the booking. Not had an email yet.. I'll call back now.0

Dont understand how callers were told this morning that all rooms had gone. I rang this afternoon about 3pm and got an answer phone message "leave details, first 15 callers will receive a call back". I left my details assuming that all rooms had gone and got a callback about an hour later saying a room was available for Sat 11/4. I have just got email to confirm booking. Could not have been simpler. Oh and the confirmation says £2.75 for the room?0

I just got my confirmation email:
I am pleased to confirm your booking for a Queen Room for the night of Saturday 11th April at the price of £2.75 including VAT.
I'm absolutely delighted!0
