natwest increase savings rate

as usually on the first monday of the month, rates go down after BOE. However it appears natwest have increased the rate on their e-savings from 1% to 1.10% instead of going down 0.50%? weird?

Skipton BS increased a couple of its savings rates on 27th February as well.

And at the same time they decrease the old Cash ISA rate!
