Not sure of the legality of it, but i got one even tho it hadn't been near my windscreen, told the warden i was just moving my car and drove off before she had even written the ticket, next think i knew was a parking ticket coming through the post. I wanted to fight it, but as it was my dad's car I was driving at the time, he didn't want any hassles, so paid it to give him an easier time. This was several years ago though, things may have changed since then.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Ticket stands I'm afraid. Lots of instances of drivers making off just as the ticket is being issued. It doesn't make any difference. The ticket is only a notification of your fine. The fact you choose to ignore that is not relevant.0 -

As has been said its valid attached this way. If you wish to fight the ticket, post a photo/scan on here for the experts to look at. This means all paperwork and both sides, even if you think its standard jargon. Stickies at top for howto.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
We are assuming this is a council ticket?0
