Hi All,
I am looking to purchase a new build 4 bed in the milton keynes area, its on at £235,000 and on the Homebuy Direct scheme.
I'm thinking of negotiating an offer of £200,000 inc stampduty and carpets. Any thoughts on whether I would get laughed at or if this would be up for consideration.
Cheers

What's the homebuy direct scheme?
Can you afford a mortgage of 200k?0 -
Homebuy direct means you get a 30% equity loan (15% government and 15%developer) so the mortage would be £140k which is fine.0

When do you repay this extra loan?0

Avoid like the plague. The new build in question will not be worth 235k."An arrogant and self-righteous Guardian reading tvv@t".
!!!!!! is all that about?0
