MFI / Tesco Deals Refund - help!

Has anyone had to have a refund from MFI on their Tesco Deal vouchers? If so, what happens? After being messed about on an order from MFI, we had to cancel as the delivery date kept getting put back, and we really needed the item, so go it from Argos instead.
Anyway, I've had the 'cash' part of what I paid refunded back on my credit card, but my receipt just says a monetary amount for the clubcard vouchers (£305, so not to be ignored!). I've phoned MFI (6 times!) and they really don't know what happens, tried Tesco and they said that MFI should send the refund receipt onto them (although no-one I've spoken to knew this!
).
I am going to send the details to Tesco myself - as I think thats the only way I'll get the points refunded, but just wondered if anyone had any first-hand experience?

They are supposed to credit back the number of Club Card points it took to 'buy' the deals vouchers back to your Tesco card. At least that's what it said on the blurb I got with my MFI deals vouchers from Tesco today. I really dont know how they go about that though. I would ring Tesco club card and get them to explain to the store what to do...give them the stores number and a contact name. Sounds like it may take a bit more chasing up though. Good luck. MFI can be terrible with their delivery dates, sadly we know this from previous orders we've had to cancel. I will only use them because the tesco vouchers mean we get stuff for free - otherwise we'd steer well clear.0

Thanks - I think I'll just get it all down on paper and write to Tesco Deals. I have the Deal Number, and I just don't think I'm in the mood to talk to anyone else at the moment, I can feel myself turning into a 'grumpy cow' as I dial!0

I know this was quite a while ago, but I wondered how you got on with getting your clubcard points/vouchers refunded?
We have a similar situation - grrrr MFI!
We had all the money refunded except the 230 pounds from our clubcard vouchers. We were told that it would all be sorted out and the points would be credited back to my card in about 8 weeks time. I am a little suspicious especially when I take into consideration the 'customer service' received to date!
Look forward to hearing how it went.

Are MFI still doing Tesco points? We spemt nearly £2000 on a bedroom earlier this year and MFI at Lancaster told us they no longer did them. I'll be bloomin angry if they lied to us.

Ian.
Hello Ian - YES Tesco and MFI are still doing the points deals. We bought furniture at the beginning of the year using my clubcard deal vouchers and will be using some more shortly.
Sounds like they were telling you porkies

I was wondering now MFI have been sold whether they would continue to do the Tesco deals? Hope so that's what I'm saving for but I guess we can only wait and see?0

Thanks. Looks like a trip to MFI is needed.

Anna_hotdeals Tescos are currently issuing MFI deal vouchers which are valid for several months so I am not overly concerned at the moment. In the worst case scenario Tesco would have to honour my vouchers and credit my clubcard account with my points, should MFI cease trading.

Ian.
They no longer give CC points with purchases, but they do accept deals vouchers.
http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/forum/index.php has loads of info about using your deals at MFI, and collecting points in general.0 -
