Whereabouts are you exactly & how far are you willing to travel? Does it have to be from a Breeder or would you consider a Rescue BSH? A friend of mine has three of them but is in Sussex afaik so too far! Your Cat magazine always has breeders listed in the back of it but I don't know if any are in the North West, if you let me know the areas you're interested in & whether you'd consider a Rescue i'll have a look for you! Great breed of Cat though x

Thank you Tigerlily that is really helpful. I am in Lancashire but would not mind travelling.

I wouldn't gladly take a rescue BSH, however, we do want a kitten so that rather restricts things with a rescue (feel guilty saying that).

    Thanks

Plenty of kittens in the breed Rescues I imagine though maybe not all the time! Have you tried these Breeders in Lancs? http://www.apatchicat.co.uk/

You will probably need to go onto waiting lists, generally it's not a case of ring up & go to buy a kitten as good Breeders tend to breed when they have homes available for any that don't make the grade as Show/Breeding Cats, so it's likely you'll be put onto a waiting list.

But that's good as it gives you time to get to know the Breeders, make sure they ask you 1001 questions & grill you on everything! And you ask them plenty also! Getting to know a few Breeders is always a good idea & to make sure you really happy with the one you pick.

The one my friend got her three from is in Sussex I believe, so abit far, but if you want her info I can pass it on.
