Is Woodbury Common Outlet in New York a good place to shop?

It was when i went 3 years ago. I found their official site and emailed them saying i was visiting and they sent me some booklets with money off vouchers! If im thinking correctly is it the one in Jersey, NY?

no it's at central valley NY ...but the jersey side of the hudson ...not that far from west point or bear mountain state park ....nice place to shop but if travelling around can be cheaper to shop at other outlet malls in pennsylvania ( lancaster county ) or new jersey ...due to the sales tax

I would not make a special effort to go to Woodberry Common, New York has some great shops in the Garment District and there is always Century 21 which is a great discount store that discounts on a daily basis.

I shop at Woodbury Common everytime i travel to NY.

I have been to other outlet malls but no others compare to the number of shops and bargains available.

It costs about $35 by bus from the Port Authority on 42nd Street - buy a ticket without the discount booklet.

If you read the other threads about it, you can then make up your mind. As a regular shopper in NYC, I feel that Woodbury has gone down in the last few years, esp since Macy's always seem to have a sale on.


Remember if you go to Macy's, to collect your overseas visitors card which gives you 11% off everything in the store just for being a tourist !
