  • I just got the 1900 version of this vacuum from the Tesco daily offer, it was reduced from £70 to £50. Don't seem to have that model number now so I guess that is why it was reduced.

Just put it together so will post back later what I think of it. BTW it was to replace a Dyson icon7.gif

    Hi Edinburghlass

How's Tesco's discontinued model cleaner performing? Do you think you'll keep it? I'm wondering how long it'll last if you can't get filters and product support for it long term? I'm still waiting on Tesco to respond on this. I guess at a quarter of the price of a Dyson it would only have to last three years to be a money saving purchase compared to a Dyson. But you might have liked it to last longer than that maybe? What do you think?
  • Hi, I'm a very new newbie and thought I'd share some info with you in the hope it might help. My vacuum broke and like you havevery light colour carpets. I turned to ebay and bought a hoover which works even better than my last hoover did from a company called graded electrics for....wait for it.....£34.99, inc postage, one year guarantee, it's bagless, upright & lightweight albeit rather colourful but hey we can all do with a bit of colour in our lives can't we. I am totally impressed with it. Failing that if you are creative with words Wilkinsons are running a tiebreaker comp with persil/domestos to win one of 30 dyson vacuum cleaners. A till receipt is required. I have had minor successes with tiebreaker comps so it's definately worth a go.

    Hi,

I have just received my Typhhon and it seems OK. the only concern is how to get parts if needed (i.e. filters). Does anyone know if here is a place to get them, or if there are any other ones which will work with this product? Tesco have simply said they do not know as the vacuum came from china?!

    Thanks,
    James
