Ive booked up to stay outside London (slough area) we are going to visit legoland and thorpe park, plus hoping to travel into london a few days

anyone any tips for saving money?

also anyone on here selling unused tesco clubcard vouchers, ive heard u can buy a merlin annual pass with them, this would be ideal for us

Walk rather than take the tube round the centre. Or get an Oyster Card.
Take water and sandwiches with you - little things like that really add up.
If you want to push the boat out for a nice meal, check out lunchtime fixed price menus - Claridges do a very good one as does The Savoy (they may still be closed though)
If you want to go to a nice riverside pub, the Captain Kidd in Wapping is very cheap and a great pub. The Italian Restaurant across the road from there (Bordellos) is excellent and cheap with huge portions.

Weatherspoons are still cheap down here. As Generali says, if you need the tube, get an oyster card, works out cheaper for Tubes and Buses.

And as he says again, bottled water (that my family refil from the taps in the toilets) is a must. My families soooo classy
