Morning ladies!
I have been up since about 0300 'cos Tristan is back in hospital and I received an email asking me to be here, so I am. Apparently they operated on him two days ago and is all IV-ed up to pain relief now.
So I have been talking to him (well, typing to him!) for nearly two hours now. He is fairly lucid but I have been warned by our mutual friend that he tends to hit the morphine button a lot and so he might drift off on me while we talk, and his typing is getting a little dodgy now.
So far he has been almost like his old self though, flirting like mad and laughing at me on cam when I roll my eyes at him! In the serious moments he tells me he is feeling like sh*t and that he loves me. I can't hear either of those statements without crying but it upsets him to see me cry on cam so I try and stop! I will stay with him til he falls asleep or til his family comes back in about three hours so will be up for a while yet.
I hope you all have really productive days flying and thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers. I know he doesn't have long and it makes every minute I have with him more precious.

Where can we waffle then ?
Philb, you can waffle carefully as long as something in the post talks about flying you've done. e.g. a paragraph about the beauty of dahlias followed by a final sentence telling us how you've washed up the tea things is quite acceptable as long as there's not too many of themWeekends, it's a different matter.
Diva - thoughts and prayers with you and yours
Wet weather out there this morning and they're talking on the radio about strong winds too.
I shall do the living room when I get home - though part of it's done already as I washed the cushion covers on Sunday
Have a lovely day peopleI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi
Thanks for the pm yesterday, what a friendly group! Off to do my half hour to myself on level 1 soon - out for a jog for the first time
I've just requested to join the facebook group but couldn't see anywhere to write a message giving you my mse user name so just to let you know i'm not a weirdo (really) - my first name is Lynn on facebook.
Will update later with rest of list x0 -
morning :hello:
i've finally caught up with everyone!greenbee - i did actually meet DH online. Having always turned my nose up at online dating I realised that because of my job (which used to involve working most evenings and weekends) and the fact that I didn't have anywhere to meet people, I gave it a go. Had quite a few dates and you can actually screen people a bit first and you both know what you're there for. Met quite a few lovely blokes and just one who was a bit odd, but in no way dodgy or dangerous.
i have to say it was quite fun (for me) to 'sort' through all the 'canditates' and find my mr. right!!!rach - I'm WAY too much of a wimp to do online dating... I'd die of stress just thinking about meeting up with someone I'd never met all on my own

Well I've been up since just after 6am preparing for the bed delivery... it should be here by 9am :j . The spare bed was very comfortable, and although it felt a bit strange going to sleep in there, I slept very well! Apparently its a good idea to sleep in your spare bed (if you have one) occasionally so that you know whether your guests are likely to be comfortable. I'm now happy that they will be (if a bit crowded if they're staying more than one night/have much stuff, as it's tiny!).
Freecycle add sent to two boards stating collection between 2 & 4 pm today... one posted 11.33 pm last night, the other hasn't gone up yet  and I have three responses so far, one of which hasn't actually worked out that I've specified the time & date... but hopefully I'll have decluttered it by the end of today! It took a bit of effort to get the mattress down the stairs, so it'll be fun getting the new one up them, but at least I don't have to do that myself!
While I'm waiting I'll get on with a few bits from my list0 -
Morning everyone, sorry I went AWOL last week, but I spent most of it either asleep or watching t.v. I didn’t get that much done, still I started yesterday as I mean to go on now. I even managed to do 30 mins on the Wii Fit, although I was shattered afterwards..lol.
Funnily enough I am actually finding things easier now the house is sort of in shape, as in it didn’t take long to do anything in the kitchen yesterday. I did most of it while I was doing other things in there – ie. Waiting for the kettle to boil, cooking dinner etc…
Oooh if anyone is interested I have had my hair all done and new photo’s have been posted on my Facebook page. They were taken while I was out on Saturday night at a “reunion type pub bash”.
