Postage On Ebay Item

I am sending a item tomorrow in a box i need it to go special delivery as its worth about £35 i done special as i thought it would off gone for more then this well the parcel weighs 2258g what would the price be special delivery and ist class recorded only asking as the buyer is having a little moan as the postage is a bit high even thou i took of £2.50.
Won 2010: Butlins 5 day Break and £250, 1 yr Virgin Active membership, Meal for 10 at Best Parties Ever, skyline 2011 dvd.

    Special delivery will cost £20.70 as it is over 2kg. 1st class recorded would cost £8.92 but is not guaranteed next day delivery and may not get a signature (recorded is pretty hit and miss at the moment).

    he postage all together with the £2.50 taken off came to £12.00
