Ladies, I'm on my way to London tomorrow for a meeting and have a lot of time to kill! Will be around the Oxford street area so where have people found clearance things there? Thanking you muchly!

    Hiya

The Sedley Place store had a reduced section in the basement in front of the manned tills on Saturday, there was a few photo printers and some hair dyes) . The Bond St station store has a reduced section on the ground floor in the section between the front section and the back section (sorry if this is confusing but you will know what I mean if you go in there). The Oxford St store (up by Marble arch near to M&S) had no clearance that I could see,

The clearance section in these store are always a bit hit and miss, and there is very rarely reduced SEL's.

If you need directions to these stores, please let me know:D. Hope you enjoy your day.

Bit (OK Lots  ) Off topic, but I know that this is close to many people's hearts, in South Molton St (just off of Oxford St) there is a shop called Butler & Wilson (you may have seen the range sold on QVC) Anyway, I was in there on Saturday and Simon Wilson, the designer, has made a set for the Breast Cancer campaign.. Inside the gorgeous Gold box is a pink diamonte encrusted BC ribbon with 2 pink diamonte droplets hanging down, this is a brooch. Also in the box is a gold coloured chain with a red diamonte floating heart hanging on it. Personally, I think it would be perfect as a Mother's day pressie (although I bought mine for myself:D ). It costs £27 ish and £15 goes to the BC campaign. There is a picture of the set on the B&W website, or on the boots chat thread (I have just posted it) I have nothing to do with this shop and am not promoting it in any way, I just love glittery, sparkly t$hings!

BTW clearance @ my local has been, erm, cleared, lol. Hardly anything left at all, just some of those ROC dermabrasion machiny things but priced at a tenner, which is def more than someone else got one for!
Also still a shelf ful of those electronic book thingies you mentioned.
    :D
    snipped

Just reminded me - printed off following voucher which I haven't seen before :
Save £5 when you buy Time Delay Skin Treatments Micro-dermabrasion System. Was £19.57 Now £14.57 Valid until 24th March

not that I know what it is though! But someone here may be in desperate need of one.....

Am now going to sort through my receipts and perkies to make sure that I have them all to hand. Looked at Brag books in Kew briefly but were not reduced - a very nice young SA was nearby with one of those zapper things and very kindly checked price for me! :D

Does everyone use these for vouchers? Seemed a bit on the small side to me although very pretty! How do you fit them in please? I want to be more organised and not miss out on offers - found some wrinklies/hairies that I didn't realise I had! I could have had more free hand cream! :p

has anyone seen any mini extracts?

Sorry but your posts are rather abrupt and I don't think you will get many replies because of this. It's been said before but a 'please' and 'thank you' do get you alot further in life!!!!

Overheard the manager saying that clearance was all about psychology and that even if the prices were not reduced or made higher, a clearnace sticker would ensure items were bought! Had a little chuckle at that as I'm sure for this thread the complete opposite is true.

    :o:o:o lol

He's not wrong either :) I picked up a tub of nail varnish remover pads on clearance (where else? lol) with a handwritten price of £2.00 because, of course, I needed them and they were cheap. ;)

The next store I popped into, there they were on full price ... for £1.95 :o :rotfl: So always price-check everything twice peeps, or you could be a whole 5p worse off

In the minis I have only found a small selection , however the larger ones there are more flavours than that ad thankfully finally managed to locate NEW mags today so I can get going on the 300points on a £1.63 spend, not that I need any more mini body butters :o

Well done on finding a new mag. Even better on the ACM vuchers, I didn't get any, maybe next time. I will be going again on Friday :T :T
