Thanks for the laundry pointer Polls x see we are graced with the vision of those smug faces on the holding page just like the january sale all over again

I was just going to post the same message on the chat thread, I hate that page.
It reminds of the summer we never had and the sale we never had

aha! cos we weren't looking for them :D it's a lil extra surprize bonus .. it's better to go in + find bargains, than go in expecting things + going out a lil sad, by not finding anything.. so like their say .. expect the unexpected lol :rotfl: :j

It's the same when I go in with a list, (taken from grabbit) and can't find anything on it.

I fel like a lost soul wandering around for what seems like hours scanning SEL, grovelling to see the lower level ones. All the while walking around with an empty basket, like a bag lady :):)

It's a lesson I learned late in life, but it's a good one to start young.:T :T :T Well done Angel. When I think of the clothes I hardly wore, because I used to say they were 'too good'

When I was a girl, (many moons ago) we lived in a terraced house with 2 downstairs rooms and a kitchen. The front room or parlour was never used as it was for 'best' or sundays, wedding, funerals etc.

What a waste of the room that was, when I look back. But it was commonplace then, everyone in the community did it. That is one good thing is not not practiced any more, but it's the same principle.

It's better to learn late, than never at all .. like their say .. better late than never .. so well done Polls :j
Thank you as well .. I have done it for years + I am only in my early 30's lol .. even with bairns clothes .. their can wear whatever their like cos their worth it :D :j

As with front rooms / sitting rooms / lounges, whatever word people want to call them .. there are to be used .. not just for best .. even I have known people in the past to lock the sitting rooms up + no1 could go in, cos it's just for best  + their probs still do it today  I don't know, not been for years + there was more than 1 family I knew that did it... hmm.

I wonder what bargains Boots will have for me soon lol .. but I must give up soon as I really don't need anything else lol :rotfl: :rotfl:
