Boots Liverpool Clayton Square had the St Tropez Ultimate Tan box sets today at 75% off - were £45 at Christmas - in a teal coloured box. They were promoting these for Mothers Day. They also had the No.7 big black box of make up with the trays of make up for about £17.25 (75% off) which were around £70 at Christmas. Both items still had the green 342 sticker on from Christmas. Now we know where what happened to all the stock from the online sale that never happened.

Lots and lots of stock but selling fast.

Ohhhhhh why can't they be in my local stores - I NEEEEEEEEEED these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

No but SERIOUSLY I REALLY dooooooooooooooo!!!!

The purple mesh bag Max Factor gwp needs qualifying purchases, so no, it doesn't go through free.

    Liverpool Clayton Square.
    Boots No7.
Big Make up sets, originally £70, now with 75% off. Making them £17.50.
They contain a palette of eye-shadows and lipsticks, together with brushes, mascara and eye-pencil.
All presented in a Black travel case.
Very good value if you can use it.

Oh gosh SERIOUSLY I neeeeeed this!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

This will no way be in my local Boots!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Found myself with a spare day (!) and, all by themselves, my little feet found their way to the station ................

Dee and I had a great couple of hours watching the world go by, eating our Boots lunches, (paid for with points) on the Embankment, got a bus, then strolled through Covent Garden, then got another bus to The Temple of Temples - Boots at Bond Street (Selbey Place).

Oh I love it there - such a huge store and wonderful SAs! I used the last of my ACMs, and mag vouchers on the Extracts minis - no more ACM vouchers today - went to the SS tills and espied - free hand massages! :j

So we were both given a 20 minute massage, using Hand Saviour & P & P Hand Cream, and then did our Extract deals. Dee had 5 ACMs and mag vouchers, so these were separate shops, and I also had the free Vichy sets for both of us, and La Roche ones, in my basket.

There were a couples of Suits standing there, so I asked what the qualifying purchases were. One of the Suits just did the ol' tiddly om pom pom, where the keyboard screen comes up and said "there you are Madam", and we got them! :T

People just leave Perkies lying about all over the place there, and I have so many so I got another couple of Sumptious Bath (I have enough now to bathe the world!) and then I looked at the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara.

There was a £2 voucher in the last GWP and my DDIL was sent some nappy vouchers, plus one for £2 off MF products (different bar code), which she gave me, so I got the mascara with £4 off - very nice! I tried it when I got home and even DH noticed, and said "Blimey gel, that 'arf looks good on yer" and that really is a compliment - Polls knows about his Beauty Tips! :rotfl:

We each bought a huge pot of Essential Aromatherapy Relaxing Body Cream with Lavender & Cedarwood on Clearance, for £1.23, less 10%, so £1.11, paid with points, it smells lovely.

I have a friend visiting next week who has just finished her chemo, so I am making her a huge box of treats with lots of lovely goodies. She loves reading, so I shall pop a paper back in the box too, together with some bars of her favourite choccie, and a CD.

Knowing only too well how down she is feeling, I hope this will cheer her up. BTW, I absolutely agree with Polls about not saving things for "best" - every day is "best", cos the best thing is you're alive. :T

Massive congratulations to Rose - sorry I can't remember if this is your first DGC or not - but they are God's Gift, and so precious. May you have zillions of lovely hours with your little treasure! :A Or rather your not-so-little treasure!

Glad your Dad is doing OK Mimi - and nice to see you're doing some gentle Bootsing too! Forgot to add that all our coffees after 2 pm were free - thank you so much Mr Starbucks!

Grannifying tomorrow, and Kingston on Friday, then a family non-Bootsing weekend.

    xx

Going to collect up loads of H+B mags from my local tomorrow at lunchtime as they have none in the big store. Planning to go to the big store again on Friday and getting a few of those EXTRACT things. Wish me luck.

If I get one of those VICHY free things and swan off over to the SS tills and put it through with an Extract item and a meal deal or two, it won't go bleep will it? I'm tempted to try it, but don't want to make a show of myself. I could always pout at the SS tills if it goes bleep! LOL.

Thanks for the tips re: lip balms. Will have a look at the ones you have pointed out and probably buy the whole lot.

Also, VIRTUALLY was telling me CLINIQUE do a men's concealer that will help hide my spots and blemishes. Does anyone know where they do the men's version? Looked at my local big store, but couldn't see any.

Thank you one and all for your best wishes, it is all due to you lovely people on this thread that my Grandson has 20 of everything he could ever need. For that I thank you. Been to see him this afters and he is even better than a glitch, a combo of coupons and a lovely SA put together.

Awwwww bless!!! Bet you had lovely lovely cuddles!!! :j :A :j

    hey

I was in boots yesterday and noticed the had the red ruby and millie case left from xmas. I asked the sales advisor how much it was thinkin it would be reduced to 75% and she said it was £49. Do they usually put the price back up on things?

Ooh no, lots of things seem to find their original price labels ;) , in fact I'll share my latest scary find in Boots. The Umberto Giannini hair dryer (courtesy of ebay 'cos no piccie on dot.com) was £25 at Christmas and then straight afterwards shot up to the rather random price of £39.14 (!).

Yeah that's bad enough but I noticed, well I say noticed, rather I stopped and did a goldfish stare  'cos now it costs..........£59.99!! So, if you see it and like it, don't buy it 'cos that's madness surely! No doubt in a few weeks it'll be Half price, fantastic offer, now only £30! I must have looked shocked as the SA came over and asked me if I was ok..:rotfl:

I found MORE Boots stash today. I was trying to put something away and it just wouldnt fit into the cupboard so I got all irate, saying who has filled this space with rubbish, then pulled a box out full of my 'necessary' pink curl creme/hair serum goodies. :o I'm now only going to get really, really good deals....so where are they??? :D

One good thing is I finally managed to successfully (do I have too many s's there SS? Lol) complete my SS transaction with a yumdiddlyumptious smelling Extracts Cocoa Butter wash with both vouchers.....now I have got the hang of scanning these vouchers I can go forth and multiply.....oh no...I said I was gonna get less didn't I?.....:o
Ooh actually, on the subject of SS, if an item scans at a price you'd rather it hadn't :D , how can you cancel the item yourself or do you need assistance?
