Mr B makes some very costly mistakes:rotfl:0 -
Hiyall !
Just got 2 more No7 Stay-Perfect foundations from 2 different Boots for £3.50 each. Free with Perky/Purky/Purply. (Don't you just love friends who don't have a Boots card/can't be bothered with vouchers/give you theirs
).
Signs said £7 but went through till as £3.50.
I'm still deciding if I like them but for free, hey, I have to !0 -
My face was definitely tangoed
I don't often wear foundation so maybe I was applying it wronglyI only used a tiny bit and tried to blend it with a sponge and my fingers, but it was still much much darker than my skin.
Think I will try mixing it with moisturiser to try and dilute the colour
hi Tiara:D you could try mixing the foundation with a blob of radiance balm to make the colour less tangoey.0 -

Just back from Boots.
I can confirm that the No7 Stay Perfect Compact scanned at £3.18.
AM, in case you pop over to Runcorn - or anyone else- lots of Olay Total Effect Daily Moisturiser reduced to £5, down from £16.63.
Plenty of mags too, but you can only take 1, the SA's insist on only 1:rolleyes:I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like youwould like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing

I think I may have had a reaction to the No 7 Compact foundation. My eyelids are slightly reddened but also there are what look like really tiny pimples (can't think of a better word, they aren't red like spots, more white-ish
) that look like they're underneath the skin on them.
UGH!!
It's the only new thing I've used so will let it go (hopefully it will!) and try once more in a little while (just in case Ive eaten something Im allergic to  ) but if it happens again, I will be taking it back 'cos I understand from other posters that if you have a reaction you can exchange/get a refund.
Just thought I'd warn people with sensitive skin/eyes that there is a potential irritant in them.
I am a bit  too 'cos I really like the compact and was planning on getting some more!
Anyone else with a weird face today? :rotfl:0 -

I love mine (I have the compact one)! I am very pale skinned and the new ivory is absolutely perfect - not just ordinary perfect:rotfl: It feels lovely too.
I got one on Tuesday for £1.36 with purply and then got another one yesterday for £3.18 so very happy. I thought the sa's were maybe getting them for themselves as I saw them gathered around the shelf about five minutes after I got mine and then they took them all off and were scanning each shade so think they must have realised something was a bit amiss.
JELLYBABY - no I haven't and have used it since tuesday but I don't seem to have any problems with the no7 stuff. Time delay, Roc and Rimmell make-up I have to stay away from though.0 -

Thats exactly the look my daughter likes :rotfl::rotfl:
I wouldn't mind but the colour recommended by the No7 SA really suits heroutrageous_monkey wrote: »Just back from Boots.

Hi Passion8 + everyone else.
I'm just wondering what other people get for teachers as normally I give them all chocolatesbut now I am into buying stuff from boots, then I am doing them a lil pamper hamper each .. so far... Olay face wash.. s+g handwash + L'oreal GWP creamy/white zipped lovely bag with 3 x mini creams in + the headband.. so I have an idea.. just wondering what else to put in.
Thanks
Angel x
I have a collection of the bits and pieces that come in the GWP's. I usually start by removing everything then use the bags or boxes as containers and personalise the contents.
Hand cream and handwashes always seem welcome, as well as nail files and buffers. The JF serums and hairsprays that we all seem to collect go into each one, also the pencil sharpeners and tweezers that we collected with the Bourjois vouchers. I keep an eye on the clearance stand for little novelties too, the mirror mints and Balm balms went into some of my mini hampers.
I've done a few mini pamper hampers for friends who are going into hospital too, pretty much the same contents but with the addition of a handbag mirror, a cooling water spray and mini toothpaste, shampoo etc.
It's the guys that always have me stumped, a collection of the minis from the No7 GWP's go in but then I never really know what else to put in. Nail files and buffers are nice for them too as long as they don't look too girly, I do like a man with well manicured hands :rotfl:0
