Is it possible to lay vinyl flooring on top of the vinyl that is already there?

as long as the old vinyl is totally flat and dry it shouldn't give you much trouble0

And thoroughly clean - sprinkle it with bicarb and leave for a few hours, sweep up and go ahead and lay new floor. We did this when we moved into a place were there had previously been dogs who may have had a few accidents there.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0

Provided the vinyl underneath is not too spongy....Profit=sanity

Not too sure why you would want to lay new vinyl over old.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
