T-mobile broadband dongle?

I am moving home tomorrow into a flatshare, the flat doesn't have a BT line installed so it would end up costing me a heck of a lot to get the internet put in and would take 3/4 weeks.

I have noticed that T-mobile do a broadband USB stick with unlimited downloads (they seem to be the only one with an unlimited option). The speed is up to 4.5 Mb.

Would this be really slow? I use the net a lot so if it was unbearably slow there isn't much point in me getting it. Although I probably wouldn't pass a credit check for it anyway but worth finding out.

Any help appreciated :D
