Hello,
I'm not really that offah with DIY so excuse my lack of knowledge. My Fiancee and myself are painting our first house from top to toe but are reluctant to atempt a bit of work in the Kicthen.
So;
Removing cupboards top/bottom along one wall.
Cutting the worktop on this wall and using it to replace a bit of shabby worktop on the oppisite side.
Removing a small breakfast bar.
£60
It doesnt look like much so I've no idea if this is a fair price.
Any info welcome.
Martin

I say that was a fair price, I took off some cupboards formm our kitchen myself and it can take a while, say an hour to unscrew everything properly.
The worktop cutting, depending on how it works may take a special tool, part of a router kit I think, but in itself the tool will cost you more than £60 so I'd say worth paying for.0 -
£60 for a tradesman to travel to your house with tools for a job that will take over an hour is good value if he does a good job.0

Update
He didn't bother turning up and hasn't replied to my calls.
My uncle (A spark) took all the cupboards off while up doing some other work, took the worktop into his work place and asked a joiner to cut it with one of those big fixed saws and replaced it the next day.
All good in the end and all it cost was a bottle of wine!
Martin.
NB Thanks for the replys0
