I am looking into bying a newly built house Valued at £97,000 with a council operated scheme, whereas I pay £45000 deposit and live in the building for a minimal rental (approx £100 pm.) I am 59years old and think that a mortgage is out of the question.

Not had any answers, and maybe as I thought. It was just another Government scheme to to capture the last of my hard-earned savings0
