Any ideas how to stop it?

From what I can find, this is a new "feature" AOL are trying out. Presumably they're trying to get you to use their search.
It seems the only way to get rid of it is to stop using AOL.0 -
It's blooming annoying!

I dont understand why people use the AOL software anyways:idea:0

It locks you in. If you start using it, there's no way to export your old email, contacts or even favourites out of its database. Terrible!Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

You can do your email through Outlook if you wish thus you save your old emails. I limit my favs so I know what they are.
I have two computers, one I use AOL and one IE. I don't mind the AOL software to access the net as I find it convienent.
I must try to get AOl down to £6.99 per month (currently I pay £9.99) as I've another poster on these forums reckons they got offered that by AOL when they rang to cancel.~Laugh and the world laughs with you, weep and you weep alone.~:)
