nationwide flex account help!!

Hi, am going traveling on the 29 march and have moved my money to a flex account due to the free withdrawls overseas you get from the nationwide flex account. I went to my local branch today with one of my friends so he could set his account up and they said that on the 1 june they are going to change the account to free withdrawls in europe only. is there any way i can appeal or do anything to object to this due to only getting this accout because of the perks it has with my travelling.
Thanks sam...

There are no grounds for complaint - they're just passing on a fee that VISA charge them, and you'll pay a greater fee from that with any other current account provider. They've not signed you into a contract for benefits so can change them as often as they want!

I don't see how you can appeal. Nationwide are entitled to change the terms of the account and if you don't like them, you can close your account. The change is for all account holders - not just you. Nationwide also stopped paying interest on flex accounts. I’m saddened to see the loss of both features but I suppose cutbacks are inevitable in this climate. Would this not be more appropriate in the current accounts forum?

Nor are there any charges with the NW Flexaccount in Poland, and the Flexaccount is free.

The new rules only apply to certain countries, mainly outside of Europe.
