claned my carpets yesterday, still not dry???

Options
i hired one of those carpet cleaners from bnq yesterday and they are still not dry, how long will they roughly take to dry? is there anything to speed up the drying process? also i noticed that they looked pretty clean a few hrs after but now they seem to have got worse?!?

When they are wet, they will take on a more uniform appearance - it's important to give the tough bits several goings over. They will pick up more dirt when wet also so you shouldn't walk over them.

It's the time of year really that would affect the drying - it's going to need 24 hours anyway but you need heating up and the windows open so the moisture can escape.

  • i have been walking on them with no shoes on only but not too often as i havent moved in yet, will this make it worse?

It's safe to say it won't make it better :o

Have you had the heating on?

  • Don't try dry then by cranking up the heating, that will cause shrinkage, just airflow over the surface will help, from either fans or open windows.

I know with our Vax, you can set it to suction only to get out any excess water, does that thing have a similar function?
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.
