Cheap Accomodation far North of Scotland ??

Can anyone recommend some accomodation at the far North of Scotland for a couple of nights, so long as its clean & warm it can be a small hotel, B&B or Guest House, preferably that offers an evening meal. Above a pub or similar would be the ideal
Nothing expensive as budget is an issue & we only need the basics. We will also have a small dog with us so will need to accept pets.

As for location it can be anywhere across the top of Scotland from John O Groats across to Durness as i will be touring the area.

There is a good range of places listed depending on what you prefer. There are two restaurants that i can think of in Durness (may be more, but i can only remember two!). One is Mackays, which is also a hotel and the other is Sango Sands. This is a pub/restaurant with reasonable prices and decent food.
