    mine grew up knowing that if they didn't eat what was on offer they'd get a glass of milk and have to wait til breakfast but that doesn't mean I cooked things I thought/knew they wouldn't like, I just tried to incorporate new foods in existing favorites until they got used to the taste.

    e.g. do they like fishfingers? cut the fillets into fishfinger size pieces and cover with breadcrumbs.

    Actually to be fair my son is pretty good at eating lots of things - I'm just trying to incorporate more oily fish into his diet because it's good for him! (I know I could give him an Omega 3 supplement if all else fails).

    Thank you for your fishfinger idea and to everyone else who's already contributed suggestions - I will definitely try them out.
