Salmon recipes that children enjoy?

Options
I've got quite a few pieces of salmon in the freezer and wondered if anyone had any quick and easy recipes that children might enjoy (have already looked in recipe index but there didn't seem to be many unless I've missed something).

I've made salmon fishcakes in the past but DS isn't keen so I'm looking for some more inspiration. Thanks in advance.

My mum used to make us fish pie like the one above when we were little and we used to love it! She used a tin of pink salmon in those days and stretched it into a fish pie for 4, (although I think her portion was mostly mashed potato and a blob of the sauce). She used to flake the salmon into a lovely homemade parsley sauce, so it wasn't lumpy and top it with buttery mash, browned in the oven.
You could add peas and sweetcorn or serve separately, depends how fussy your kids are really. Flaking the salmon into the sauce does disguise it quite well if they're a bit fussy about fish!

Or how about flaked into pasta with any veg they'll eat like chopped cucumber/peas/ red peppers or sweetcorn. Coat with mayo or mayo and a blob of ketchup

Fishcakes always go down well with my children.

My 2 (one fairly fussy), seem to enjoy Delia's pesto, pecorino (or parmesan) topped salmon.

I grill a couple of salmon steaks, cook and drain some pasta, flake the salmon into the pasta, and mix a holandaise sauce into the mixture and grate some cheese over the top, my dd loves it, and its a really quick easy dinner :T

Mine like it if I put some salmon in foil, top it with a bit of garlic, chopped ginger, and soy sauce and then pop it into the oven to steam. We have it with rice and stir fried veggies.

That's a really nice one, and another is to marinade in green pesto and a quirt of lemon juice all day, then quick fry it.

what kinds of food do your children enjoy? it might provide some more inspiration...

mine grew up knowing that if they didn't eat what was on offer they'd get a glass of milk and have to wait til breakfast but that doesn't mean I cooked things I thought/knew they wouldn't like, I just tried to incorporate new foods in existing favorites until they got used to the taste.

e.g. do they like fishfingers? cut the fillets into fishfinger size pieces and cover with breadcrumbs.
