engagement party - cardiff

Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good, reasonably priced, venue in Cardiff for my engagment party?

Not sure where your looking for in Cardiff and what kind of thing but

Canton Liberal Club Cowbridge Rd, Very resonalble, half decent decor!£30 for members slightly more if not

Temple of health and peace, Heath (Civic Building) No bar about £200 to hire the hall and caretakers fees but you have full access to kitchen you are allowed to bring your own booze maybe a trip across the water and get some

Rhiwbina Sports and Socail, Not been there but apparently quite nice! Again quite cheap

Bayden Scouts hall next to ikea!? Went to a party there last july it was lovely! Again no bar but your allowed to bring your own?! Nice big car park too

Electricity Club in Llandaff

Llandaff Rowing Club

Cardiff Uni?

Students Union

or if you want a hotel

St Mellons Country Club
New Inn - Heard awful things about it
Also think the Pendragon in Thornhill has function room
The places i havet commented on are because i know they let there halls out but not sure of price etc. Never heard anything about them
