now the silly question what to we put in the annual benefit box?
we were hoping to do £200,000 over 20 years hubby is 30 and i am 27 both nonsmokers but its coming back with quotes of £46 per month so i am wondering if i am putting in the wrong figure amount?

If you are asking for a quote on a plan that pays an annual benefit (such as family income benefit) then you put the annual need in there.we were hoping to do £200,000 over 20 years hubby is 30 and i am 27 both nonsmokers but its coming back with quotes of £46 per month so i am wondering if i am putting in the wrong figure amount?
Yes you are putting in something wrong or you are adding in multiple options. For example, a sum assured of £200k would suggest a level term assurance, decreasing term assurance of whole of life assurance plan. A annual benefit wouldnt apply to them. That would apply to family income benefit plans or PHI policies.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
