Does this sound right?

I'm in consultation for potential redundancy at work. I asked for details about what I'd get if I went voluntarily. They acknowledged I've worked for them for 4 full years, but are only offering 3 weeks' money and no payment for any holiday I've not taken, despite being entitled to.

I thought staturory was a week per full year worked, dependent on age, but under that rule I should still get 3.5 weeks.

Can anyone help please?

If you are 25 years old then 3.5 weeks for 4 years worked would be correct. 3 weeks would be correct if you are 24.

You will have to consult your contract to determine whether outstanding holiday pay is paid. There is no legal requirement to do this unless specified in your contract.

If your company fails to comply with the law and/or your contract of employment then you should take advice regarding taking them to an employment tribunal.
