I doubt we will ever know the truth about his departure - but if it is player pressure then shame on them!
They wouldn't be where they are now without him0 -
who would you like to see as new coach?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

Ruddock did not win Wales the 6 nations ..... a team built over a period of time won the 6 nations .... not one little man.
Would love to know the truth about all this, instead of having to hear tittle tattle rumours. no doubt he will make a lot of money when he sells his version of the story.0 -
Not one little man.
Mike Ruddock is NOT a little man......... The way he developed Swansea to play a game that had me enthralled. In Ireland he could have taken over the Irish squad. He DEVELOPED the Newport Gwent Dragons into an exciting successful unit.
If the Welsh players were naturally developing into a Grand Slam side. The results of season 2003/04 do not show it. I thank Steve Hanson, Graham Henry and Andrew Hore for the fitness and structure of the squad, but it all came together under Mike.
I was uneasy initially at the selection process of Mike, and that he felt it necessary to give his resignation letter to the Western Mail before the WRU, but still feel that this is more of on indictment of Mr. D. Pickering and Mr. S. Lewis.
I hope Mike makes a long and even more successful career in rugby after this and wish him and his family all the best.0 -
