I have received my contract from the repossession company solicitors today, when can I expect to complete the deal? My mortgage offer should be sorted by early next week
Any advice is appreciated, tense times!!

Hi,
Sorry to butt in , but could you tell me which percentage lower than asking price you offered? I am thinking of buying a repo house as well, but dont know if my 15% lower than asking price will be lose a lose or not...
Any advice appreciated

16% lower was accepted - I suspect they've gone lower now though0

Thanks for your answer !
Do you think offering 80k in a 93k asking price, will sound good to the repo company?
If they accept my offer, will i still be liable to lose to a bigger offer, even if survey, solicitors etc gets the ball rolling??
Thanks

In answer to your first question - it might. If you have further to go then keep offering but keep those increments really low.
In answer to the second question, maybe. But I'd rather have a low offer accepted and have to go higher as the result of another buyer than offering high to avoid the chance.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We have agreed at 7% under the asking price, we are quite happy with this & it's a quite sort after property.
On the bad side, it's quite stressful & a nightmare, but if it comes off we will be very happy with what we have got.
Try & get an advisor that you trust & can talk to.
Ps Estate agents have been a total nightmare.
Good luck :beer:0 -
Thanks for all your answers :j
If we go for it, will be careful not to be pushed by EAs, in the end, if it is not THEEE property of our dreams, we wouldnt pay more than what, we will be happy with
In all honesty we want to keep on the conservative safe side, as more price reductions will come along during the year
Jaykay hope your exchange/completion goes well till the end ! :j0
