Where is the best place to pick up cheap tools, spanners, screw drivers, hammer etc? And also electric corded drill?

I would try https://www.screwfix.com if I were you. B&Q have quite a few clearance lines still going too and I seem to remember seeing corded drills among them. if you want really cheap then try the pound shops but remember you only get what you pay for and its no use breaking a spanner at 10 o'clock at night.

try and find your local auction house that deals with baliff takings amazing pickings sometimes ie Dewal18v cordless drill £25.00. either that your local ad trader (just one thing think long and hard before you spend lots of money on a tool if you aint going to use it more than once or twice buy b&q own brand.)

Sometime a local Sunday market is a good place to get cheap tools, but beware, there is no substitute for quality.
