Sky in another room

Using the Sky magic eye (or whatever its called) can i switch over the channel if i am watching it in another output say HD?

    The normal SkyLink remote extender sends its signals down the RF2 coaxial cable. This does NOT need to be connected to a TV aerial socket (but it can be). So yes, you can watch via HDMI and control via RF2. But bear in mind that the Digibox will think you are controlling it from a bedroom, which can result in a few surprises if you aren't.
