Can I use a credit card to buy a car?

I know it sound's like a simple qustion!

I'm looking to buy from a private seller without credit card facilities. I don't have a credit card right now but am thinkning about applying for a 0% Skycard, but if i withdraw cash i'll get charged. So,

Can I transfer money for the credit card to my current account yo pay for the car and avoid interest charges

or

if i register a skycard with paypal and buy a car on ebay, could i avoid interest charges?

Any other ideas would be welcomed!

Just something to think about, if you go the paypal route, the seller will get stung for some hefty paypal charges... at the standard not normally a volume paypal seller, 3.4% of purchase price, (plus 20p but you can probably ignore that! )

I doubt many people would accept PayPal for a car!

Go for an egg card as you get the 5 months BT, ok there is a fee but they have no problems transfering your balance to your current account.

As mentioned by Yorkshire boy check out SBT with MNBA ,MINT or A&L.
Don't waste your time with a application to SKY for this purpose.
I intend to purchase a car soon and have it on 0% great.
