Part ex for a new build house - advice sought

I am looking to move into a bigger house, which is currently under construction by one of the national 'mass' housebuilders. We have had our house valued and accepted their offer and they have also offered to pay the stamp duty, estate agents fees, carpet throughout and pay £300 towards the legal fees. Would I be too pushy asking for more Ie, pay full legal fees, grass the rear garden, pay more for my property, or am i just being greedy.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Since you already accepted their offer for your property, I think asking for more is pushing your luck too far. Obviously you must think that you were given a fair price for your property, or you would not have accepted it.
As far as anything else which hasn't already been agreed, I would suggest you ask - if you don't ask, you will not get. So give it a try - you may be surprised. Good luck in your new home.0 -
did you get market value for your property?0

We got a small fence put up and a outside light when we part ex for a new house, this was after we moved in. I would ask and see what they say.0

Hi, thanks for your response - when I said I had accepted the offer, I am happy with the price they offered, although I have not told them yet. This is what prompted my question. Before I signed on the dotted line, I was just wondering if anyone had been in a similar position before.
They have offered market value, give or take £2k, but the deal is going to be very good for me.0 -
pretty much, probably about £2k max below what other properties in the area are going for. Although the take up of houses currently on the market is slow at present, so it should be a good deal.0

Don't get too greedy. You need to appreciate the benefits of PX to you which far outweigh those to the builder.
No chain
Cash buyer
No EA fees
Hassle free move in date
If your house isn't sold by the builder on move in day, its their problem not yours
Good Luck0
