Hi there folks; good luck with the competition

I'm here to ask that if you do enter the competition, please do complete the fields as requested; especially the one that asks if you want to receive emails/texts.
Many people do not realise that it does actually cost money for companies to send out "bulk" emails to their subscribers. This is done to avoid being labelled as sending out spam and causing them problems with email addresses/domain names/ISP blocking etc. If you do not wish to receive emails/texts because you're not interested in finding out about events or the subject matter on the website etc, then please do fill in the relevant field to say No to receiving emails.
It really is a waste of money for those companies if the person entering the competition doesn't want to receive them, especially in today's economic climate. And this website is set up to help people get the best out of their pennies and save spending where they don't have to - think of the small companies too...
Thanks and again, good luck with the competition,
Steve0
