No, Royal Mail redirection service works on surname not address or ownership.

If the house is only very recently let, visit the Council office and look at the electoral roll, which would show the occupants' name. Although this won't work if the tenants have been quick and registered themselves.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac

You mentioned the neighbour had said they had been trying to sell for a while, would the neighbour have their contact details or be willing to pass on your details to owners???0

Best advice so far.
If that fails go in person to the EA office. When they have the file open memorise the phone number. If you can't read upside down, have a sneezing fit, wait until the EA rushes off to locate a box of tissues and take a peek at the file.
Leaving aside issues of fundamental dishonesty, how do you propose to get them to open, in front of you, within reading distance, the 'file' for a property that they no longer have for sale?

ok, howsabout this- if agent no longer acting for vendor, could ask them straight out, for contact details- if pushed, do some speel about considering a swap, or getting rental info..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
