Can anyone advise me on what to do. I hold a nationwide account and also a nationwide credit card and always pay my credit card balance off each month using their internet banking facility. In Feb i done this and it didn't work and so got a late payment charge and interest charged to me. I called nationwide yeaterday and was told be one guy that yes the internet banking system had experience difficulties then and it was their fault and put me through to the credit card people to explain and get my charges back, he said they would prob know about it because other customers also had probs. But the credit card team asked me to call the current account people back and ask them to call the credit card team to explain the fault as they weren't aware of any prob and when i did the guy on the phone said that infact there was no problem with the online facility at that time and it was my fault that i didn't complete the transaction. He then went on to say i was lying about being on the Phone to his colleague for 40 mins discussing it jsut before talking to him. Sorry a bit long winded but anyone got advise?
