Can you help please?

If I have already accepted a refund of PPI (before I knew of this site!)can I still make a claim for the remaining amount?

I took out a loan with GE Money, then Loans.co.uk, in August 2005 for £25000 + PPI £3750 for a duration of 64 months.
I repaid the full amount early in December 2008 and received a refund of £750 on cancellation of the payment protection plan. Should I have received more and have I burnt my boats when it comes to claiming PPI back?

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

    Hi there and welcome.

Is that just a standard rebate/refund what you received on cancellation?
You can reclaim the rest of this plus interest etc, if you feel you have a case of being mis sold this ppi product.;)

Please post if you need any help with this.;)

Thanks for your support and the offer of help.

Reading through the section on this site about claiming PPI I think I may have a case. I took out the loan to pay off existing debts and the PPI was added as a single premium payment. As I had little experience of how insurance works and was just desperate to sort things out I agreed over the phone to the terms offered.

I think the sum I received on cancellation was a standard rebate.

Anyway I'll have a go and see what happens. Wish me luck!
