Hello all!!

Been out and about, and got tonight's dinner of game stew on the slow cooker.

Got: 2 packs of diced game (venison, pheasant and partidge), 4 carrots, 10 potatoes, 3 parsnips, 2 pints of vegetable stock, 1 large onion and 2 handfuls of spinach.

Also, I came home to find one of the 2 Galaxy books I won has arrived; it's a proper full size book with no indication it's free so you can use them as gifts; when I have read mine, they're going on my Greenmetropolis list (I use the same username as on here if you want to see what I already have for sale!)

Sounds yummy. We're having sausages with winter veg mash (pot, parsnip, brussells). OH doesn't know it'll include brussells yet - we'll see what he says when it's put infront of him!

I got the game in Tescos; they were on offer from £3.99 to £3 and then they had a yellow sticker on and were £2.05 so even though I spent about £6 in total on the meat and veg, it's still 4 meals so less than £2 a pop!!
