Sorry for interrupting guys, I posted on the comps discussion thread but it got overlooked so I thought this may get more of a response from the lovely people in here. Just wondering whether we have had any winners from the Elle Advent Comp where you could win Benefit make up?

I was hopeful about that comp as there were a few prizes every day, but I don't recall seeing any winners.

Weve just got to send the LO in some " funny socks" to school - £1 donation !- doesnt seem like much - last year at playgroup had a whole day of activities - much more fun !!

yes that counts

could have done something at the playgroup I run but we are trying to raise money for a new church hall at the moment so didn't think red nose stuff would be appropriate (can't spell:o ) as we seem to always be asking them for money

eughwwww! Just been out to the kitchen, came back in, sat down, felt something on the end of my finger!!!! A huge spider! I screamed! hubby came running and was absolutely no help at all because he's scaredier than me of spiders!!! Its run off somewhere now.
What was it doing on my finger???!!!

We had a dress down day at work today, £1 each for Comic Relief, also sold red noses at work. There'll be lots of blind card and bonus ball shenanigans on Friday but it's my day off and there's to be a raffle next week but it's my week off (:rolleyes: yet :j) but will leave money with my friend to buy me raffle tickets (forgot to say ... our workplace doubles whatever we raise for charity :T) Don't usually watch it on telly but working sat morning so not going out and house to myself as OH off to rocky horror fancy dress at the pub :rolleyes: so will watch it this time
