Hay Toni, OH being grumpy because hes giving up fags?? Go easy on him....
I gave up Jan 1st and last week I was crying my eyes out I wanted one so badly, and I thought I was long over it. Its so hard, I sat down and made myself watch all the utube videos on anti smoking adverts and real storys, I put the most moving ones together myself burned them to disc.. I have to say its so powerfull I was really craving a ciggy and after watching I have decided I will never put that crap near me again.

Ive just been buring a few more off for all the family and friends trying to give up at the moment as I really hope it might help them.xx

I just discovered that my great grandfather was a big wheel in the masons :eek: and what's more he wrote a book about it in 1910 which is still in print. Trubble is it's hellishly expensive.

That might explain his dismay at my grandfather's antics. He fathered two illegitimate children by my grandmother in 1912 and 1913 which must have been shocking to him at that time, being a pillar of the community and all.

That's very exciting Snidely. Are you researching your family tree? I guess the book is not something you can pick up on ebay? I wonder whether any online specialists could source a cheaper copy for you? DD's godfather is a barrister and has written a famous law book - he sent her a first edition and it has a three figure price tag

I so want this top....I have a code for 20% off but I'm waiting for the sale. I love it though. :D

Been culling my CD, DVD and software collection, bagged it up ready to take to CEX tomorrow to take the edge off the £20 I'll be spending on a slow cooker.

How are we all this evening?

    Evening all.

Flick - that top is £155  - I wish I had enough money to buy things like that, but even then I think I'd stick with cheaper brands so I could have more!!

Had a nice evening out. Started packing too... shorts, bikini, hairdryer and disposable underwater camera (win from last year) all in the case. Will do a few bits every now and again... so excited!!

Hope your OH manages to do it toni - give up the fags I mean. Will be worth it.
