Question about Quidco and Holiday Inn?

Hi,
This is a strange question and I'm not sure anyone will know the answer, but here goes. I booked online, the Old Sydney Holiday Inn, going through Quidco 10% cashback. It states that cashback will only be paid once the stay has been completed, probably to ensure that you turn up, etc... even though the total amount is taken from your card straight away due to the room rate!
Anyway, booked 2 nights total $594/£266.18. I knew damn well I was not going to pay this as I had a cheaper price and have got them to match it under their best rate guarantee. This has been confirmed by email and I am now paying $392.40/£175.84 with the difference being refunded back to me. When I log into the holiday inn website and my reservations the higher rate still shows up.
So - what will Quidco track the 10% at - the £266 or the £175. The £266 is what I booked over the Internet.
Hmm, any suggestions....

What's the problem?
Either way you will get the cash back.
BTW
I've known Quidco to still pay up despite the hotel reservation being cancelled.
Stayed here a couple of years back.
Don't forget to go on the roof for a fabulous view of the Opera house, bridge and Harbour!0 -
No problem - I was just curious really!
Yes, the rooftop pool - that's what did it for me! Know there are cheaper hotels in Sydney, but for me it's location, location, location and either way Quidco tracks 2 nights in Sydney £150ish during Easter I don't think you can complain!
I think this hotel is pretty near everything going off the reviews.0
