I have been thinking about how to dry my washing
was so pleased to come home from work 2day and no rain so washing lovely and dry from the washing line!:)
Well i've been thinking about building a car port type cover for part of my patio to put my washing line under.
Maybe this would be easier?

Looks alright, but the website says that it is a sun shade. Unless I misread something, it does not say that it will protect against rain. Maybe it will. but there is no point in buying it unless you are sure.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
Katie, as that site is in USA then this probably applies (from HM Revenue & Customs website) which will make your purchase more expensive, and as 27col says it doesn't say it's waterproof. If you buy goods online from a country outside the European Union, for instance the USA, Canada, China, Australia
You will be charged:
Customs duty if the amount of duty is €10 (£7) or over
Import VAT if the value of the goods is €22 (£18) and over
Excise duty for some goods like alcohol and tobacco
If I can't get my washing outside I put in on a clothes horse on the landing (my landing is quite generously sized) and it generally dries overnight. You can leave your window on vent if worried about causing damp.0 -
How about a Rotaire? It's a cover for your rotary washing line!

I tried getting one this week as soon as I discovered them, but it seems they've sold out in our size, so must be good!0 -

I recently bought one after someone mentioned them on here and it really does do what it says, very easy to fit and I don't have to rush out and bring my washing in every time there is a shower.0
