Anyone bought the Ikea Hemnes Day Bed?

Has anyone bought this item? I am thinking of it as a sofa bed due to the height of the bed. Can anyone confirm to me how it is made to a double and if it is indeed the height of the seat, stated on Ikea's website?

i have this bed, and its a single bed, i dont know how you would convert it to a double bed. perhaps it come in double size too? or perhaps when you pull the drawers out, you can rest a mattress on them?

its also not very comfy to use as a seat, because its too deep, its more for lounging/laying on, rather than sitting. it looks like a bed, so i wouldnt use it in a living room

oh actually that one looks slightly different to mine. it looks like the whole front pulls out to form a shelf that you could put another mattress on, to make it a double? dont know where you would store the other mattress though, and the pull out bit, wouldnt have head/foot boards
