Edinburgh Hotels at Hogmany - advice please

A little more than 10 months away i know, but really want some useful advice about hotels centrally located for Hogmany in Edinburgh city centre.
Should I be looking for deals now, wait til the summer in case of any special offers or should I just book right now at full price given that all riooms will no doubt sell out.
I'm guessing how popular it is that there would be practically zero chance of special deals, but am making the request to those who read this post who have experience of what to look for when booking for Hogmany, guessing most hotels will be around the £60-£120 per night bracket
I am looking at staying two nights (30th/31st, or the 31st/1st)
Thanks!

Supply and demand.
All the hotels know it`s the biggest night of the year and all rooms will go.
At the moment Travelodge central (and it is central,100yards off the royal mile and about 500 yards from North Bridge, where`s there`s fantastic views across the city) want £110 a night.
It all depends how desperate you are to go.0 -
£120 is the starting price for central hotels at Hogmanay and these days virtually all have a minimum of two or three nights stay.foxystoat69 wrote: »when booking for Hogmany, guessing most hotels will be around the £60-£120 per night bracket
As for which to pick - what's your budget, how far are you willing to walk, how many in the group...0
